The Quality of Your Life is the Quality of Your Relationships.

We’re grateful to walk with you this year. Here are three sets of relationships to begin considering now. Each one is designed to set you up for a meaningful year in Eden Lead.

1. Engage with a Spiritual Director Monthly.

Lock in your spiritual director if you have not already done so. Here is a document to help guide you through finding and engaging one who is right for you: [HOW TO FIND A SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR]

Begin meeting with them as soon as you can — no later than August 31st.

2. Recruit 2–3 prayer intercessors.

Prayerfully consider, then invite 2–3 trusted family members or friends to pray for you while you are away on retreat. We will send you a prayer guide before each retreat to give your intercessors before you leave on retreat, with prayer prompts connected to your time away.

3. Think through your Triad.

Pause and reflect on who you’d love to walk alongside in your Eden Triad. Three options are offered to honor your unique situation and meet you right where you are.

• Option One: Form a Triad with two local spiritual friends who are also in the cohort. You’ll meet weekly at home and go deeper together during each retreat.

• Option Two: Be matched with two other cohort participants as your Triad for each retreat. You will meet with them at each retreat during Triad times. At home, you’ll nurture connection by gathering weekly with two local friends — they do not need to be part of the cohort.

• Option Three: Connect with your Triad both at each retreat and in the months between by meeting virtually, keeping your hearts and journeys intertwined wherever you are.

You don’t need to make a final decision today. A Cohort Intake Form will be emailed to you on August 4th, where you’ll share what you’ve decided about Spiritual Direction, Intercessors, and your Triad. Once everyone submits their Triad preferences (due by August 11th), groups will be formed, and you’ll be encouraged to connect with your Triad before the first retreat.

A reminder: the Virtual Launch Gathering is coming up on August 18th. That’s a good place to bring any questions about spiritual direction, triads, or anything else on your mind as the year approaches.
