Your Eden Lead Year (EL#5) has officially begun! We’re excited to welcome you into this spiritual formation community, where together we'll deepen our relationship with God, ourselves, and one another.

Your cohort experience BEGINS TODAY with the Pre-work shared in this email. A best practice is to schedule a 1-2 hour block of time each week to slowly engage this material which is purposefully organized into Reflections, Practices and Readings.

As you engage fully, the Holy Spirit who is your primary teacher, will be present to actively pursue you in love. Your engagement will prepare you to experience the retreats with a solid foundation. You’ll also find yourself edifying others as you become conversant with the big ideas connected to relational spirituality. We are praying that you courageously open yourself to this journey as we create spaces for you to encounter God.

Encountering God as better than you believed him to be

In just two months, we’ll gather in Texas for our first retreat, focused on the theme: “Encountering God as better than you believed him to be.” I’m so looking forward to being together!

Until then, we have carefully crafted this Pre-work to help you begin to more deeply encounter our God of love. 

Taking these actions steps will ensure a great start:

1. Bookmark this Landing Page.  This is your participant's control center for the entire EL#5 journey. Already you will find your Content Syllabus, Pre-work Reader, and Participant’s Calendar. We strongly encourage you to bookmark it for easy access throughout the year. Use the Participant’s Calendar to add all important dates to your personal calendar. 
2. Begin your Pre-work Reader found on the above landing page. Begin today working through the EL#5 Knowledge of God Pre-work Reader. Depending on your preference, you may choose to print off the Pre-work Reader and place in a binder or you may want to read on your e-reader device.
