In four weeks, our EL#4 Cohort will be gathered together in beautiful North Carolina! This year is one of intentional formation, and we are filled with expectation regarding what Jesus will do in and through you.
By now, you should have received your Eden Project Welcome Box. In addition to your Participant Calendar and Cohort Syllabus, you will find a few meaningful gifts to help you prepare for the journey ahead. We hope the candle, Triad Guide, The Relational Soul book, and both of David Benner’s beautiful books bless you as much as they have us. These are more than resources—they are companions for the journey we are embarking on together.
Preparing for your Knowledge of God Retreat
- Keep engaging with the weekly Pre-work each week. This work is designed to help you slow down, listen, and become more attuned to what the Father may want to stir in you during retreat. All Pre-work and readers can be found on the your Cohort Landing page but the reader is also found here for your ease of reference.
- Create space for the Reflection Questions. On the last page of your Pre-work, you will find a short set of Reflection Questions. The week before the retreat, we invite you to set aside 20–30 minutes with the Spirit to summarize what’s been emerging in your heart and mind. We have found reflecting upon the pre-work helps leaders like yourself arrive open and ready to receive what God has for you. Please submit your responses by end of day September 3rd.
- Need a ride? Use our Travel Coordination document if you’d like to connect with others about sharing rides to and from the airport. While The Eden Project doesn’t coordinate travel, we’re happy to help you link up with fellow participants. If you plan to use Uber after the retreat, we recommend scheduling it in advance.
We’d love for you to arrive by 3:00 PM on the first day so you can join us for our Welcome Reception. Please plan to stay through the full retreat, which will conclude at 12:30 PM on the final day.
